Meet our design team:
Jody Wallace - Company Founder
Jody has always loved everything to do with designing and decorating homes, from laying out the floor plans to picking colors, fabrics and furniture styles. She has been working in design for over 20 years.
Before moving to Portland in 2010, Jody lived all over the country, moving from southern California to the gulf coast of Florida, to the suburbs of Chicago. Along the way, Jody has gained a wealth of experience, working with some very talented people and taking in new ideas from different regions across the country.
In 2022 Jody decided to retire and kept Greylyn Wayne a family business by handing off the company to her daughter and son-in-law. She now spends her free time traveling, playing with her granddaughter, and using her lifetime of design knowledge to continue doing what she loves.

Jessica Patino - Accounts Manager
Jessica has been working with the GLW team since the very beginning. After years of staging, she now handles all scheduling, quotes, billing and runs point on our customer service.
She earned a BS degree with honors in Accounting from Southern Oregon University where she was also an SOU Raiders cheerleader and dance team member.

When she's not helping our customers or taking their money, she loves working out and hanging out with her sweet baby June, her husband Joey and her silly dog Dak.

She is has an eclectic style with a Bohemian flare. She loves blending different patterns and textures and can never pass up an opportunity to add a pop of color to a job.

Makayla Bajema - Social Media Specialist
Makayla grew up in sunny Southern California before coming to Oregon to attend Multnomah University, where she majored in Global Studies with an emphasis on children at risk.
After realizing college wasn’t the right fit at that time, she moved on to work in retail and eventually found a love for visual merchandising. That’s what led her to the world of Staging and Interior Design and, ultimately, Greylyn Wayne. And we’re glad she found us!
Makayla’s smile and terrific attitude fit in very well with our team. When she’s not staging beautiful homes, Makayla loves to paint, draw and hang out with her husband and dog!

Tori Horton - Designer / Purchasing Manager
Tori is originally from Orange County CA. In 2011 she graduated with honors from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in Product Development.
She has worked for companies developing a wide variety of products in different categories, including rugs, clothing, shoes, accessories and baby products.
Looking for a change which still allowed her to be creative, in 2020 Tori interned with an interior designer based in Los Angeles. She enjoyed the new challenges and different creative components to the position. When she moved to Washington in 2021, she joined the Greylyn Wayne team to broaden her experience in this area.
Tori is a foodie and in her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants (and hanging out with her dog!)

Delanie Holland - Designer / Operational Specialist
Delanie is a recent graduate of Portland State University where she received a Bachelors of Science in Marketing.
While attending college, Delanie worked alongside a small real-estate development company where she managed, trained and assisted with designing small boutique hotels throughout the Portland area. Delanie quickly discovered a passion for designing and decorating homes which is how she found her way to the Greylyn Wayne team!
When Delanie isn’t working, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, eating all the food Portland has to offer and traveling the world with her Fiance!

Miguel Olmedo - Lead Moving Specialist

Miguel attended St. Helens high school where he was a three sport athlete, competing in track, football and wrestling. (And he was pretty good at wrestling. State Heavyweight Champ. Just sayin.) He got a little tired of pinning people to the mat, so he decided to conquer staging.

Greylyn Wayne recruited Miguel because of his amazing customer service from his family restaurant in Portland. He is a people person with a big personality and fits in great with our culture and team.
When Miguel is not moving furniture or hanging art at Greylyn Wayne, he likes to spend time with his friends checking out the local restaurants or wrestling at a practice meet.
Maria Chavez - Staging Manager
Makaelyn Jennings - Lead Stager
Maria was born and raised in Portland, OR. She has worked in fitness, finance, and luxury tile before graduating with an Interior Design degree from PCC in 2020.
Prior to working at Greylyn Wayne, she was an interior designer for a small design build in Oregon City. Maria has a deep passion for creating beautiful spaces and connecting with others which marry perfectly at Greylyn Wayne. Her favorite design style is global eclectic - she loves blending color, texture, and warmth into spaces for a cozy feel.
In her spare time, you can find Maria involved in church activities, practicing piano, playing board games with her family, or exploring the outdoors during the summer months.

Another one of our Oregonians, Makaelyn (who goes by MJ) was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Her love for design traces back to when she was a child, always watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition with her mom and finding any excuse to redesign rooms in her home growing up. She has recently blossomed at Greylyn Wayne. MJ found us through a friend, our own Rylie, who asked her to apply.
When not staging you can find MJ at Mt. Hood Community College where she is studying marketing, throwing the javelin for her school, slinging coffee drinks at Dutch, or expanding her shoe collection.

Justin Hickey - Moving Specialist
Olivia Brodeur - Assistant Stager

Olivia was born and raised in Northern Oregon and found her passion for design while decorating her college apartment. She fell in love with the endless possibilities design brought her so she decided to study interior design at school in hopes of making it her career. She came to work for us here at Greylyn Wayne to broaden her knowledge and hone her skills. Olivia enjoys making her home a place that reflects her style, creativity, and personality. And she loves loving what she does!
When Olivia isn’t on the clock she is spending quality time with her family and friends or shopping.
Justin was born and raised in Oregon and was one of the star athletes at his high school. After graduating he was looking for a great job opportunity to get started in the workforce and heard about Greylyn Wayne from friends who loved the job.
Some things that make Justin unique are his ability to stay positive in any situation, making just about anyone laugh, and his work ethic. In Justin’s free time, he loves to add to his tattoo collection, work out and play video games with his close friends. In the future, he would love to pursue owning his own gym.

Mario Olmedo - Moving Specialist
If you recognized the last name, you’d notice we have two brothers on our team! Mario was born in Autlan, Mexico, and raised in Oregon. He started working with us in 2021 as temporary help during our busy season. After realizing what a rockstar he is, we asked him to permanently join our team just a few short weeks later.
Dedicated and strong, he is a hard worker who has had a positive impact on everyone he's worked with. He is very family oriented - there is nothing he wouldn’t do for them. Along with family time, Mario loves to read, work out and meet new people.
Jacqueline Kekos- Assistant Stager
Jacqueline graduated in 2015 from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco with a degree in Visual Communications. She spent six years exploring the different facets of the Fashion, Design and Social Media Marketing industries. Her love for visual story-telling, styling and space planning was a catalyst for pursing a career in Home Staging. Her favorite home decor items to collect are alabaster lamps, Scandinavian crystal and Polaroids from traveling. When she’s not working she can be found with her nose in a book, spending time with her pup Archie, hiking, or at a local brewery

Betsey Maas- Assistant Stager
Betsey is a Southern California transplant who moved to Washington to attend WSU where she achieved a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Betsey became passionate about design as a kid when she would tour model homes with her parents. Her favorite design styles are modern and contemporary and she loves color and contrast. That being said, she finds it an adventure to create spaces outside of her design preference.
Betsey starts almost everyday going to various coffee shops and getting her favorite drink. She also loves to spend her free time playing Sims, paddle boarding, and going to the farmers market.

Kaitlyn Riley- Assistant Stager
Meet Kaitlyn, a laid-back and talented Interior Design Senior from Oregon State University. Originally from the charming town of Roseburg, Oregon. Kaitlyn now spends most of her time soaking up the creative vibes in Corvallis while pursuing her passion for crafting beautiful and inspiring spaces.
Kaitlyn's love for interior design began in high school. She stumbled upon Greylyn Wayne thanks to her boyfriend's mom, a realtor in Portland whom we have worked with in the past. Beyond her passion for design and music, Kaitlyn is all about embracing the beauty of nature. She loves spending time outdoors, drawing inspiration from the world around her.
