Meet our design team:
Jody Wallace - Founder
Jody has always loved everything to do with designing and decorating homes, from laying out the floor plans to picking colors, fabrics and furniture styles. She has been working in design for over 20 years.
Before moving to Portland in 2010, Jody lived all over the country, moving from southern California to the gulf coast of Florida, to the suburbs of Chicago. Along the way, Jody has gained a wealth of experience, working with some very talented people and taking in new ideas from different regions across the country.
In 2022 Jody decided to retire and kept Greylyn Wayne a family business by handing off the company to her daughter and son-in-law. She now spends her free time traveling, playing with her granddaughter, and using her lifetime of design knowledge to continue doing what she loves.
Jessica Patiño - Director of Accounting
Jessica was introduced to the world of home staging by her mother, Jody, and has since embraced the family business with passion and creativity. After several years of working alongside her mother, Jessica now co-owns the company with her husband, Joey.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern Oregon University, where she was also a proud cheerleader and member of the dance team, Jessica combines her analytical skills with her artistic flair. Her eclectic style, featuring a distinctive Boho touch, shines through in her work as she blends patterns, textures, and vibrant colors to create inviting spaces.
When she’s not staging homes, Jessica loves to stay active, spending time at the gym, and cherishing moments with her two children and her husband.
Tori Horton - Principal Designer / Purchasing Manager
Tori is originally from Orange County CA. In 2011 she graduated with honors from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in Product Development.
She has worked for companies developing a wide variety of products in different categories, including rugs, clothing, shoes, accessories and baby products.
Looking for a change which still allowed her to be creative, in 2020 Tori interned with an interior designer based in Los Angeles. She enjoyed the new challenges and different creative components to the position. When she moved to Washington in 2021, she joined the Greylyn Wayne team to broaden her experience in this area.
Tori is a foodie and in her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants (and hanging out with her dog!)
Delanie Holland - Principal Designer / Operational Specialist
Delanie is a recent graduate of Portland State University where she received a Bachelors of Science in Marketing.
While attending college, Delanie worked alongside a small real-estate development company where she managed, trained and assisted with designing small boutique hotels throughout the Portland area. Delanie quickly discovered a passion for designing and decorating homes which is how she found her way to the Greylyn Wayne team!
When Delanie isn’t working, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, eating all the food Portland has to offer and traveling the world with her Fiance!
Miguel is a three sport athlete competing in track, football and wrestling (well-known for his accomplishment as a State Heavyweight Champ).
Greylyn Wayne recruited Miguel because of his friendly spirit and customer service skills he obtained from his family's restaurant. He's a people person with a big personality that adds to the culture of our team.
When Miguel is not moving furniture or hanging art at Greylyn Wayne, he likes to spend time with his friends, wrestle at a practice meet, or venture to find a new cliff jumping spot.
Maria was born and raised in Portland, OR. She has worked in fitness, finance, and luxury tile before graduating with an Interior Design degree from PCC in 2020.
Prior to working at Greylyn Wayne, she was an interior designer for a small design build in Oregon City. Maria has a deep passion for creating beautiful spaces and connecting with others which marry perfectly at Greylyn Wayne. Her favorite design style is global eclectic - she loves blending color, texture, and warmth into spaces for a cozy feel.
In her spare time, you can find Maria involved in church activities, practicing piano, playing board games with her family, or exploring the outdoors during the summer months.
Makaelyn (MJ) was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Her love for design traces back to when she was a child, watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition with her mom and finding any excuse to redesign rooms in her home. With an eye for Mid-Century Modern and Eclectic design, her stages are tailor-made for the Portland market.
After work you can find her browsing the racks at local thrift shops, exploring new restaurants, or expanding her shoe collection.
Maria Chavez - Director of Staging Design
Jacqueline Kekos - Marketing & Communications Director
Jacqueline graduated in 2015 from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco where she studied Visual Communications. She spent six years exploring the different facets of the Fashion, Design and Social Media Marketing industries. Her love for visual story-telling, styling and space planning was a catalyst for pursing a career in Home Staging. Her favorite home decor items to collect are alabaster lamps, Scandinavian crystal and Polaroids from traveling.
When she’s not working she can be found with her nose in a book, spending time with her pup Archie, hiking, or at a local brewery.
Miguel Olmedo - Principal Moving Coordinator
Makaelyn Jennings - Principal Staging Designer
Olivia Brodeur - Principal Staging Designer
Olivia was born and raised in the Wine Country of Oregon. Her fondness for design started when she was a teenager, where she began DIY home projects in her family home. She's inspired by Modern Farmhouse and Organic Western designs. Her favorite home decor items to collect are western design ceramics, cowhide textiles and anything with a floral accent. Olivia enjoys making her home a place that reflects her style, creativity and personality. And she loves loving what she does!
When Olivia isn’t on the clock, she is spending quality time with her family and friends, shopping, or spending time in the countryside horseback riding and collecting wildflowers to press.
Reilly Creech - Principal Staging Designer
A recent graduate from OSU, Reilly received her degree in Design and Innovation Management in 2022. Her journey in the staging world began at a young age. Inspired by her mother, Reilly spent summers working alongside her, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and developing a deep appreciation for interior design.
Reilly's favorite design style is Mid-Century Modern, characterized by its clean lines, functional form and timeless appeal. She brings this stylistic preference into her Staging endeavors.
Originally from Seattle, Reilly is excited about her recent move to Portland, where she looks forward to exploring the local food scene, trying new restaurants, and indulging her passion for travel during her downtime.
Mario Olmedo - Assistant Moving Coordinator
If you recognized the last name, you’d notice we have two brothers on our team! Mario was born in Autlan, Mexico, and raised in Oregon. He started working with us in 2021 as temporary help during our busy season. After realizing what a rockstar he is, we asked him to permanently join our team just a few short weeks later.
Dedicated and strong, he is a hard worker who has had a positive impact on everyone he's worked with. He is very family oriented - there is nothing he wouldn’t do for them. Along with family time, Mario loves to read, work out and meet new people.
Kaitlyn Riley - Junior Staging Designer
Kaitlyn Riley is a passionate 2024 graduate from OSU, where she earned a major in Interior Design complemented by a minor in Design and Innovation Management. She finds inspiration in the natural beauty of the world around her, often incorporating elements of rustic charm and farmhouse vibes into her designs.
As Kaitlyn embarks on her professional journey, she is eager to apply her skills and passion for design to create spaces that not only meet the functional needs of clients but also evoke a sense of comfort and harmony.
On her off time, Kaitlyn enjoys being outdoors and exploring the beautiful PNW.
