Meet our design team:
Jody Wallace

Jody has always loved everything to do with designing and decorating homes, from laying out the floor plans to picking colors, fabrics and furniture styles. She has been working in design for over 20 years.

Before moving to Portland in 2010, Jody lived all over the country, moving from southern California to the gulf coast of Florida, to the suburbs of Chicago.  Along the way, Jody has gained a wealth of experience, working with some very talented people and taking in new ideas from different regions across the country.

Jody has worked in the furniture and décor industry for over a decade. Her work in design started back in Ohio, where she helped homeowners work with contractors to design their ideal living space. She also worked as an interior design consultant, advising customers on color schemes, fabrics, and décor choices.  Her experience spans from starter homes to large, custom homes as well as industrial offices.

Jody loves working with people and has run a variety of service-related businesses, including beauty consultant, wedding coordinator, and birthday party services.  In 2007, she was selected for the top customer service award from among over 300 franchise owners.  She loves creating and designing, but most importantly, she enjoys helping people and making customers happy.

Rebecca Dennis

Rebecca was introduced to interior design at an early age.  With a father as a contractor and a mother as an interior designer, she was immersed into the design world from the beginning.

Graduating with honors, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California-Orange County. Rebecca immediately began her career as a designer, focusing on the commercial side.  After three years working as a personal interior designer in Newport Beach, California, Rebecca and her husband decided to start a new life in the Pacific Northwest.

Rebecca has been with Greylyn Wayne since January 2019 as the lead designer. Using various design software from AutoCAD to SketchUp Pro, she is known for creating an overall design vision that blends functionality while curating spaces that keep her customer’s style in clear focus.  Her years of diverse design experience ranging from

new construction, residential and corporate remodels, has led her to develop exceptional artistic and creative abilities.

Jessica Patino

Jessica grew up far, far away (in Ohio) before moving to Ashland to attend college.  She has a degree in business, with an artistic background.  She is an award winning dancer and choreographer and has spent years teaching dance.  She loves all forms of expressive art, from modern dance and fashion, to interior design.  She started years ago, designing dance costumes for her students and now she brings that creativity into homes here in Portland.

Jessica enjoys working with color and textures and has a very eclectic style. She is great at listening and interpreting customers’ ideas, has an acute attention for detail and is always looking for unique, modern styles.

Her favorite style is Bohemian and her favorite decor accents are rugs and pillows – “A girl can never have too many pillows.” And in this new world of Greige, Jess will always look to bring a pop of color.

She makes every customer engagement fun. Her quirky style helps keep our designs fresh and her sense of humor always keeps us laughing.

Madison Horst

Madison is the newest member of Greylyn Wayne. Growing up in a creative household, Madi has always thrived in this type of environment, working with various crafts and putting together floral arrangements for weddings and other events since a young age. Although Madison is new to the team, she is eager to learn new skills and work alongside the team at GW.

Born and raised in Portland, Madison is very familiar with the funky lifestyle. Before joining the Greylyn Wayne community, she had attended community college where she studied business. She left school to pursue her interests of art and design. As a result, she has been able to grow and learn independently with help from the family at Greylyn Wayne who act as her design mentors.

When Madison is not staging, you can find her at almost any plant store in Portland exploring the world of horticulture, making bouquets for small events, or obsessing over her Toy Australian shepherd, August.

Mason Brickey

Mason joined the Greylyn Wayne team in 2018.  He grew up in the High Deserts of Eastern Oregon, before he moved to the beautiful Portland area.

Mason is the muscle.  He moves furniture, hangs art, and helps our stagers create masterpieces.  When he’s not working Mason enjoys playing with his dog, going to the gym (crazy, right?), and just being in the company of friendly people doing exciting things.

“If I had to pick a favorite part of this job... It would definitely be the team I work with. Very rarely do you get a team of people who get along so well and treat each other like family.”

Tyler Brown

Tyler grew up in Portland, living in some amazing mid-century interiors. That’s where his love for interior design started, and later in college he learned more about the design he’d grown up around.

Tyler loves working with our team at Greylyn Wayne. He gets to use many of his design and organizational skills every day, whether it’s packing the truck or hanging art.  A lot of care and effort goes into our staging, and Tyler takes a lot of pride in the work we do.

When Tyler’s not at work, he can be found skateboarding, playing Ping Pong, or working on one of his animated films.

Miguel Olmedo

Miguel attended St. Helens high school where he was a three sport athlete, competing in track, football and wrestling. And he was pretty good at wrestling. State Heavyweight Champ. Just sayin. He got a little tired of pinning people to the mat, so he decided to conquer staging.

Greylyn Wayne recruited Miguel because of his amazing customer service from his family restaurant in Portland. He is a people person with a big personality and he fits in great with our culture and team.

When Miguel is not moving furniture or hanging art at Greylyn Wayne, he likes to spend time with his friends checking out the local restaurants or wrestling at a practice meet.
